Reef Futures 2018
As a student volunteer at the first Reef Futures conference, in Key Largo 2018, I presented a poster, Community engagement supports the scientific integrity of reef restoration, to showcase our reef restoration work in Akumal and highlight how engagement with the dive community and tourism operators had facilited advances in the methods we were using to restore Akumal’s reefs.
